Welcome to Jelly Legs Run Club, a new social running club designed to bring together the vibrant community of East London.
Situated in the heart of Leytonstone, East London, we offer a unique blend of urban and trail running experiences.
Our routes mix the bustling streets of the city with the serene beauty of Wanstead Flats, creating a diverse and exciting running environment.

Come and join Jelly Legs Run Club on the 5th October for an exciting 5K Social Run, followed by our First Official Social Party! We’ve teamed up with the fantastic LadyJ, the Colombian Pocket Rocket, to bring you an energetic Zumba Party fueled by some sizzling tunes from our DJ right after the run!
💃Here’s the plan:
🕡 5K Run: Starts at 11:30 AM (Meet at Fitness Hub East London, 771-773 High Road Leytonstone, E11 4QS with bag-drop available)
🕢 Zumba Party: Kicks off at 12:30 PM (Meet at 'The Birds' 692 High Road Leytonstone, E11 3AA, upstairs in the function room)
Whether you want to run, dance, do both, or just watch and socialise – the choice is yours! You are welcome to come to any part of the event. Let’s get the good vibes flowing in the beautiful function room at The Birds, where the bar will be open to keep the party going! 🍹
🕢 Stay afterwards and eat with us: Why not stay after the event and join us for some food? Here you can socialise with new and old friends. If you want to continue the party you can pre-order (advisable as it will be very busy, set menu available) or order at the bar.

Monday Morning Motivation: Kickstart your week with our 7:15 AM run. This will be a 5k route
Friday Evening Social Sunset Extravaganza: Unwind at the end of the week with a scenic run followed by drinks and food. It’s the perfect way to begin your weekend!
Our club welcomes runners of all levels. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, we have different pace groups to ensure everyone feels included and supported. No one gets left behind at Jelly Legs! You’ll not only meet new friends but also become part of the Jelly Legs Run Club familia!
Our Meet-Up location
All our runs start and finish at Fitness Hub East London, located at 771-773 Leytonstone High Road. We provide a convenient bag drop-off service, so you can run unencumbered. After the run, stick around to socialize and enjoy some of the best coffee from Hermanos, a refreshing smoothie, or a hearty breakfast bowl if it’s a Monday morning. On Fridays, let loose and enjoy the evening vibes with fellow runners.
Founding Story
Jelly Legs Run Club was founded by two friends, George Lopez and Aaron Williams, who met over 13 years ago when Aaron, a keen runner, sought George’s help for a running injury. George, a physiotherapist with extensive experience working at Leyton Orient Football Club, the British Army, and Tottenham Hotspur FC’s 1st team, kept Aaron in peak condition for years.
Aaron has been a fanatical runner and active member of local running clubs and cross country leagues in the area. He currently runs an art printing business, Raw Canvas, in Leytonstone. During the COVID pandemic, Aaron and George conceived the idea of creating an all inclusive 'non-runners running club' - for people who want to run rather than compete. Though the timing wasn’t right then, fast-forward four years, and the dream has now become a reality.
